DOJ: NXIVMā€™s Mexican Attorneys Engaged In Criminal Activities With Raniere and Bronfman; Dennis Burke also mentioned

In what has otherwise been a relatively quiet week in the U.S. v. Raniere Et Al case, the prosecution dropped a whole boatload of whoop-ass on the defendants in several filings today.

Tonight, weā€™ll look at the ā€œGovernmentā€™s Memorandum Of Law Regarding Defendantsā€™ Assertions Of Attorney-Client Privilegesā€ (Weā€™ll cover the other filings in later posts).

For those of you who may have lost track of all the attorney-client claims that various defendants have made with respect to the materials that were seized during a raid on Nancy Salzmanā€™s former residence, hereā€™s a quick summary of what those are:

Clare Bronfman has asserted that written communications between her, several attorneys, and various applicants for United States visas are subject to attorney-client privilege;

Bronfman, Keith Raniere and Nancy Salzman have asserted an attorney-client privilege over materials in the governmentā€™s possession based on their personal claims of privilege;

NXIVM Corporation, Inc. has similarly asserted that attorney-client privilege protects written communications between NXIVM representatives, including the defendants Clare Bronfman and Kathy Russell, among others, and various applicants for United States visas;

NXIVM has also asserted attorney-client privilege over written communications between NXIVM representatives, including the defendants Bronfman and Raniere, and Mexican attorneys Ricardo Olmedo of Olmedo Gaxiola & Abogados and Diego Ruiz DurƔn of Bufete Ruiz DurƔn S.C.

As set forth in the Memorandum Of Law the government filed yesterday, the prosecutionā€™s response to these various claims for attorney-client privilege is that none of them are applicable. If the presiding judge in this case, the Hon. Nicholas G. Garaufis, agrees with the prosecution, then every piece of communication between the named defendants and their various attorneys seized from Nancyā€™s former residence will be introducible at trial.

Google Blocks Gateway Pundit from News Search Results

Google has rejected an application from conservative website The Gateway Pundit to appear in Google News search results.

In an email to the Gateway Pundit, Google claimed that it could not provide specific reasons why the site had been rejected. Instead, the tech giant provided two ā€œcommon reasons for rejection,ā€ although it would not say if they were the actual reasons the conservative website was rejected.

Per Googleā€™s rules, publishers must submit an application to have their site appear in Google News search results. Once rejected, a publisher must wait 60 days before applying again.

Here is the message Google sent to The Gateway Pundit.

Review Complete: Site Rejected

Thanks for your interest in sharing your content via Google News. Unfortunately, we canā€™t include your website in Google News at this time.

Before you request inclusion again, review our content policies and technical guidelines. You can also visit the Google News Help Forum, where Google News employees and publishers often share helpful tips and expertise. Members of the forum may provide specific suggestions and feedback for your website.

While we canā€™t provide specific feedback for publishers seeking inclusion, here are the top 3 most common reasons for rejection.

Unoriginal content: Google News values original reporting. If your site shows syndicated content, make sure itā€™s properly attributes and makes up less than 50% of the content on your site. Advertising and other paid promotional material on your pages should not exceed your content.

Unclear ownership or authorship: Google News strives to show readers news from transparent sites with verifiable author information. Make sure site ownership, mission, and contact information (such as email and physical addresses and phone numbers) are available. Articles should display author information.

After a minimum of 60 days, you can submit your website for review again using the Request Inclusion in Google News button next to your site in the Publisher Center.

Withdrawal of US forces from Syria may unveil coalition's military crimes

MOSCOW, December 29. /TASS/. The withdrawal of the US army from Syria may shed light on the military crimes committed by the coalition under the "fight" against the terrorist group Islamic State (IS, outlawed in Russia), a military-diplomatic source told journalists on Saturday.

"The upcoming withdrawal of the American military from Syria may unveil multiple military crimes committed by the international coalition during the so-called fight against the ISIL (the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, a former name of the IS - TASS)," the source said. It chiefly concerns Raqqa, "which was turned into a ghost city after the carpet bombing carried out by the coalitionā€™s aviation," he said.

The source pointed out that now the US, the UK and France state the inadmissibility of holding surgical operations against militants from the extremist group Jabhat al-Nusra (outlawed in Russia) in Idlib to avoid the sufferings of the civil population of this governorate. "That said, during the operation to liberate Raqqa, where the ISIL openly used civil residents as a shield, Washington, London and Paris sent their aviation there that just dropped bombs on the cityā€™s residential quarters," he said.

The source noted that Raqqa has not been cleared from mines yet and thousands of bodies remain under the city debris. Outbreaks of infectious diseases are being registered in the city, which are killing civilians, including children.

Militants became active in the Al-Tanf area, which is controlled by the US: they are trying to penetrate to Damascus and Jordan, the source said. He also informed that the terrorists are burning the bodies of refugees from the Rukban camp who died because they did not receive humanitarian help.

"Both the Syrian government and international humanitarian and human rights organizations will have to long and thoroughly deal with all this and other ā€˜heritageā€™ left after the illegal American presence in Syria," the source said.

The withdrawal of the US forces

On December 19, US President Donald Trump declared the decision to start the pullout of the American forces from Syria. He explained it by the defeat of the IS in Syria, which was the only reason why the US forces were there. The withdrawal of the army of more than 2,000 may take 60 to 100 days, according to American officials.

Review of FBI and DOJ FOIA Documents Released on Christopher Steele Indicate Incomplete List Ending in February 2016

Per our review of the documents provided to Judicial Watch per a FOIA request it appears that the FBI and DOJ may have stopped their release as of important documents in February 2016. It appears from the documents in the FOIA release that Steele was admonished in February 2016, long before the Russia investigation even began.

If this is the case, the FBI used Steeleā€™s bogus dossier a source for their FISA warrant request long after he had been fired while claiming to the court and the public that Steele was a solid source. The FBI and DOJ also have a lot of documents left to provide.

In a report by Andrew McCarthy at the National Review, a US Senate report stated that Christopher Steele was fired from the FBI as a Confidential Human Source on November 1st, 2016. It was important to note this date because Steeleā€™s dossier was used as the support for the FISA warrant requested from the FISA Court in mid October of 2016. Steel was fired but the story line is that it was only shortly before the FISA request was made from the court. The request was granted and renewed several times over many months into 2017.

Now we know that this may all be another lie by the Deep State DOJ and FBI. Per a review of the FOIA documents requested by Judicial watch related to Steele, it appears that Steele was admonished by the FBI in early 2016, long before the FISA warrant request and even before the start of the Trump ā€“ Russia investigation.

Judicial Watch made a Freedom of Information Request (FOIA) to obtain all records between the FBI and Christopher Steele and/or Orbis Business Intelligence (his firm).

Colombia Probes Alleged Plot by Venezuelans to Assassinate President Duque

The Colombian government is investigating a possible plot by three Venezuelan nationals to assassinate President Ivan Duque, Foreign Minister Carlos Holmes said in a video message.

The trio was arrested in the cities of Valledupar and Barranquilla, according to Caracol Radio. They carried large-calibre weapons, a machine gun, a grenade and a scope.

Colombian authorities are reportedly looking into whether the suspects had any links to the Venezuelan government. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro earlier accused Bogota of a plot to kill him.

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza responded on Twitter, saying that Venezuela had been trying to contact the Colombian top diplomat to offer police and intelligence help in probing the allegations.

"We will request from the Colombian authorities the informationā€¦ regarding the three captured Venezuelan nationals with an intent to conduct a rigorous investigation," he tweeted.

Arreaza added that the Venezuelan government hoped to investigate together with Colombia the failed drone attack on President Maduro during his speech in Caracas on August 4.
