That headline was from a Daily Mail headline, was discussed in an earlier bread

Nothing that significant here. We've known about the drill hole for quite awhile. It was most likely drilled on the ground before the Soyuz spacecraft was launched. Unclear if it was due to bad quality assurance (Russian space program has a terrible record lately) or sabotage (unhappy workers). Either way, it was a small hole and was successfully repaired, spacecraft has returned normally to Earth as scheduled.
The "drilled from INSIDE" headline kind of dramatic flair from the Daily Mail writers. Don't read that as "drilled by one of the astronauts / cosmonauts in space". It just means from the inside, not the outside. Only important takeaway is that it wasn't drilled by aliens.
