Graeme Lewis (CLP General Secretary, NT)is at the centre of a political donations saga that dogged the former Country Liberal Party government and he has quit a senior role with the party less than five months into the job.

But Graeme Lewis insists his resignation as CLP general secretary was not linked to pressure from the Northern Territory Labor Government's political donations inquiry, which is scrutinising the now defunct Foundation 51 — a CLP associated entity he co-founded in 2009.
