I think I found out why the Schuman resonance has been rising, and why the transformers exploded. Our atmosphere took a big whack, ringing it like a bell a few days ago. The culprit was a big geomagnetic storm caused by a solar minimum coronal fissure that is spewing high energy particles. These fissures are 'holes' in the sun's corona that are visible in IR, but not in photos of visible light.
I'm not sure what a 'black eye' is but perhaps it is shielding or regenerating the magnetic field. With all the huge UFO sightings world wide this past week of the TR-3B, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if that is the "black eye."
