One night last February, I saw two small "explosions" of iight similar to this- one was blue, one was pink/orange. Next, a strange wind came out of nowhere and the lights were obscured by a heavy, wet particulate dropping out fo the sky…the next day, the the paper reported that towns nearby reported a mysterious yellow substance coating everything. Less than a year later, those same towns burned to the ground.
