Strange, shouldn't all the alert systems activate simultaneously? Kind of useless if the siren goes off minutes before impact. Guess that did try to cancel it almost immediately but it failed to stand down everything, throwing everyone out of whack.

At any rate, the activation/cancellation procedure needs to be reviewed, because if anything it's concerning that the system failed to respond properly.
