Meryl you’ve talked about having to ….stand up, speak out, you’ve got no choice. It’s your duty. How does it feel right at this moment being a voice of the liberal establishment?

  • Meryl Street “What’s most predacious about this particular moment, is not that the person in power disagrees with the story that’s being written or to try and suppress a story, this is about trying to actually take the credibility away from the institution that delivers the stories. To delegitimise the Press itself as an entity. And to say there is no place you can go for the truth, that’s the thing that’s So dangerous… its taking away the legitimacy of the WP, NYT, every single credible organ of the uh truth.

  • Spielberg- The weapon of choice today is creating chaos of confusion so we can’t find the truth as easily as we used to. In 1971 we had 3 tv networks and we had newspapers and we had some radio and that was it.
