Open source is what 4chan and 8chan are for. The privchans are selective due to the various people/groups trying to steal ideas and it is essential it remain so due to investigations often looking at specific things we don't want to have altered. For example a large amount of media members backgrounds being exposed which obliterates their ability to be trusted or, and this happens every election, data management and info collection on certain political candidates (usually local/state). Honestly we're likely never going to know about any of those things and our only drop on it will be when/if someone dies. They aren't going to publicly reveal what is happening but people need to be logical here and consider the outages, blue light issue in NYC, prison boats and so on.
