Once you know and believe these things, there's no turning back.
I can't and even if I could, it wouldn't be fair to my niece and nephew who will grow up shackled and brainwashed without changes to the world.
In essence, it's my love for them that dictates I must keep going.
It's cruel sometimes for everyone but what choice do we have?
We will get 'em and one day, they will realise why we were like this and just maybe they love us for it, like we love them.

I see what you're saying but why wouldn't the 10 days simply be incorporated into the supposedly endless darkness that you think would follow? What differentiates the first 10 days of darkness from the nest period of time?
It would be a meaningless distinction to make.
