does anyone know if this is normal in murca legal systems coz these numbers look fucking dodgy to me a $3.5 billion dollar claim only paying out $22 mil in document 00081025

Why would allianz, the worlds biggest insurance company, submit a claim for 9.6 Million and then settle for 550k? Shouldnt they at least be able to ballpark the final settlement?

Also why does an insurance company even get a policy for their offices at a rival company in the first place?

this might explain the low settlements, Larry Silverstein took out a massive insurance policy just before 9/11 maybe they knew it was fraudulent

then tried to claim double because 2 planes hit them which he claimed as two seperate incidents, but the 3.5 billion in the document is half the original 7 billion originally requested so im guessing that dispute was settled by then
