I was thinking this earlier too anon.
Blockchain will always be a 'currency' because its value would be based on the trust of the system. It's never the end result.
But if the blockchain represented Gold, then that would be a different story.
Like you said, it would be the best currency ever invented. But still a currency.
But one that is open source, auditable, and cannot be inflated.
Best currency ever made.
Money would still be PM's kept by the people and in private vaults.
This would be based.
The question is, does anyone have the balls to back a blockchain with metals?
And if so.. I hope they have a lot of metal.
