I can see arming teachers turning into militarized education over time. Arming teachers isn't the answer. IMHO.
Education is currently far from being militarized. If arming leftists is your concern, it might be a great idea to arm teachers, in this case. It could be useful in getting rid of the leftist bastards. They're anti gun, right. Anyway…
On a serious note. It's the currently education and social system that is creating all these freaks and weirdos. The PC nature of it all, means that everyone is to be accepted as is. It doesn't seem to matter if they're behavior is anti social. The current system dictates that they be accepted for who they are, no matter what.
What happens then? They're not shunned or outcast by their peers. Their behavior, in their experience is considered normal and acceptable. They do not learn by way of rejection that it's not.
Arming teachers is not the answer. Changing societal attitudes is, as it has always been.
