I practice making packages in my TV production class and I'm aiming to become producer by the end of the year for our schools News Cast/ team (small step I know) but what are the steps that would help me get my foot in the door? I have a connection with my local news station WPLG (ABC) and think I'm going to try to get an unpaid internship there. But I don't know what to do if I get turned down due to my age experience etc… or what to do after my internship (if I get it). Any response would be greatly appreciated!
