(1) If Dollars are redeemable in gold then all our gold would go to China for crappy stuff.
the trade deficit would need to be near zero first
(2) last time the gov confiscated all the gold and we could only own it in jewelry.
(3) I'd love to have gold coins in my pocket but there's not enough for the US, let alone the whole world to use it. have to mine an asteroid first.
(4) the treasury will simply print the money instead of the Fed, backed by the full faith and credit of the United States

Around the 37 minute mark of the interview, King reads a letter written to Trump by JFK Jr. It is in regard to his father’s death in June, 1999.
King stumbles over the date on the letter and finally says, “July 19th.”
JFK Jr. went missing on July 16th.
In the letter, JFK Jr. writes that he read about Trump’s father’s death “ in the New York Times on the weekend.”
This obituary was published on June 26th.

It raises some interesting questions.
Why did JFK Jr. say that he read the obituary on the weekend when the obituary was published weeks earlier?
Did he really wait a month to send his condolences?
Did he write the letter in June and forget to send it?
Did he write the wrong date on the letter?
Did King misread the date that was written?
Or, as some are suggesting, is this a sign that JFK Jr. is alive and that Trump was in on it from the beginning?
