I was somewhat surprised to see a post in notables recently about Australia (and others) being a corporation. I was surprised not because I was unaware, but because I naively expected most posters here to be be au fait with corporate countries and the UCC.

But this set me to thinking about this twat from POTUS. Was he signalling us about this?

Why does everything associated with the government spell your name in all capital letters? Is that proper English? Proper nouns such as your name should only be spelled with the first letter capitalized only. Do you ever spell your name with all capitals? No I did not think so. Do you know why?

Corporations are spelled with capital letters. That is right your name in all capital letters is a corporation set up for you by the UNITED STATES Corporation. Another truth is that your Federal Government is a Corporation.

>Yes, it's just proper English.

What is proper English?

Spelling a country with a capital is proper English, but Trump was specifically referring to the word "country".

Spelling it THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is not proper English.
