Fair and reciprocal trade could be a lot more than just PC bullshit. Brazil is the US's second largest trading partner and it tariffs the shit out of imported goods. US does the same with sugar tariffs that protect the corn industry. Sugar based ethanol is a much better alternative to corn.
If Brazil drops its ridiculous tariffs it will spur their growth. If the US reciprocates around sugar it could have a huge impact on US energy policy.
