Any confirmation on the prison barges yet, or have they been debunked? MarineTraffic website is still showing 2 craft designated as 'tugs & special craft' at Gitmo. (1st image).

And regular tugboats have their own description, (2nd pic). Same for ferries, they're labeled.

So, if they aren't tugs, they must be 'special craft'.
