AZAZ planes came to the attention of the planefags when 5 aircraft were all airborne at the same time using the same callsign.
Callsigns are normally unique to one plane at a time, so having multiple planes using the same callsign airborne at the same time is very abnormal.
This would normally cause ATC problems unless it is to indicate that they need special handling/priority.
