MethadoneAnon here.

People have been talking about APACHE meaning Fentanyl, and I was absolutely floored when I heard, because me and my friend used to call Fentanyl "choppers" or "helicopters" as in Apache helicopters. Fentanyl is commonly prescribed in patches you put on your skin like Nicotine patches.

Patches >Patcheez >> Apaches >> Helicopters

You know how nick names and slang terms can wind up something very random seeming. I thought it was just our inside thing, but after hearing people suggest it on here, I could DEFINITELY imagine it might be a common slang term for Fentanyl, just like Oscars for Oxycontin.

It's EXTREMELY dangerous. Nearly every friend I have that's OD'd and died, did so from Fentanyl because it's just so much more dangerous, by like a factor of 100. I just lost 2 friends, young women, who both died in a hotel 2 weeks ago. Still praying every night that God would take them into His kingdom.

Anyways, if you want to hear more, I talk extensively about my experience, the particulars about why Fentanyl, or even Carfentanyl could seriously be used as a poison or even a chemical weapon, and talk about the wording from Q and LdR etc. It's 15 mins long but if anyone really wants to hear about this:
