I'm not sure if this has been brought up before; and unfortunately I can no longer find any articles on it, but A few months ago I read an article about fentanyl having been found in US waterways in dangerously concentrated levels, having arrived there from waste coming from manufacturing plants.
I'll keep looking for the article.
