It does if you realize other satellites have to be places into their positions before this lunar lander could actually land AND communicate with the earth. The Chinese launched another sat back in like August (called Magpie-there’s another longer Chinese name but I don’t remember) and it will essentially be used to bounce the signal from the dark side of the moon to that additional satellite and then it will then transfer the info back to the Chinese
