New Indictment Against Youth Tennis Instructor for Kidnapping, Sexual Assaults and Child Pornography
FREEHOLD – A Monmouth County Grand Jury has returned a 47-count indictment against a local youth tennis instructor with varying charges including kidnapping, sexual assault and other misconduct involving a student and other local children, announced Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
Terry Y. Kuo, 26 of Colts Neck, also known as “Victor Lee,” is charged in a superceding indictment with three counts of first degree Kidnapping, two counts of first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, one count of second degree Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault, six counts of second degree Sexual Assault, two counts of second degree Attempted Sexual Assault, four counts of first degree Causing or Permitting a Child to Engage in Child Pornography, four counts of second degree Manufacturing Child Pornography, five counts of third degree Possession of Child Pornography, two counts of fourth degree Lewdness, three counts of third degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact, eight counts of fourth degree Criminal Sexual Contact, one count of fourth degree Stalking, three counts of third degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, two counts of third degree Obscenity and one count of fourth degree Conspiracy to Tamper with Physical Evidence.
The charges stem from an investigation commenced after one of Kuo’s 13 year old tennis students alleged various instances of sexual misconduct at Kuo’s hands during the summer and fall of 2017. A subsequent investigation conducted by the Marlboro Police Department, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Bureau and Computer Crimes Unit revealed child pornography on the defendant’s electronic devices as well as improper conduct with additional juveniles.
A Monmouth County Grand Jury had previously returned an Indictment against Kuo in February of 2018. This superceding indictment, filed on December 21 of last year, charges Kuo with additional crimes committed during an extended time period.
If Kuo is convicted of first degree Kidnapping or first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, he faces a potential sentence on each conviction of life in New Jersey State Prison with 25 years of parole ineligibility. Otherwise, defendants convicted of first degree crimes face sentences of ten to twenty years in prison, while second degree crimes carry sentences of five to ten years in prison. Third degree crimes carry sentences of three to five years in prison and fourth degree crimes carry sentences up to 18 months in prison.
Kou remains detained at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold Township. The case remains pending before the Honorable Vincent N. Falcetano, Jr.
Investigators continue to seek additional information about Kuo’s activities. Anyone with information is asked to contact either Detective Edward Ungrady of the Marlboro Township Police Department at (732) 536-0100 ext. 1099 or Detective Stephen Borchard of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office at (732) 431-7160 ext. 8649.

Satan has not changed his method to destroy your marriage. He attacks the weaker vessel (the woman) and fills her mind with visions of receiving more. He creates in her a thirst for power and control as the solution for happiness and like Eve it only leaves her depressed, anxious, and weary. However, as the man, your God ordained role is to provide protection and instruction. The woman was deceived and fell into the transgression, but the man (Adam) was not. Women are easily deceived. Any psychologist can confirm this. Much of their failed relationships come from being deceived about who they were entertaining. The false Christian church is full of women laden with sins. Wicked pastors doing all kinds of sick things that the predominately female filled church overlooks. They are easily deceived.
Husbands, it is your responsibility to make sure your entire family is bathed in prayer and that every word that exits your mouth has Scriptural support. When you speak, let it be God’s words. When you pray, let it be God’s words. When you play, let it be God’s words. Your entire family should be led by God. This can only happen when you submit to God and love Him. God will keep His promise to protect your children, IF (conditional promise), you train them in righteousness. If you have daughters, remember that Satan attacks them first, use the wisdom of God and be their shield.
