This is all stage setting for the big reveal. Once the dam breaks, events will go down hard and in quick succession. Things will change so dramatically so quickly I have a feeling we will almost wish the dam held.
If they start hearings, it will only prove POTUS has done nothing impeachable. Shouting "he should be impeached" is one thing to brainwash the oblivious normies, but proving he can and should be impeached is another thing. Apart from that, impeaching the president requires 2/3 Senate vote which the Dbags don't have.
Sure, but they say that anyway. If they actually hold hearings then it will show they have no proof to back up their claims and it will die in the House where it began. This should wake up all those who are holding out hope that he will be impeached. I almost welcome it.

Can't argue with that logic. In that case, I'm sure POTUS and team are fully aware and will take necessary steps to ensure it doesn't happen. My intuition tells me the shutdown is about a lot more than a wall.
