i find the alice in wonderland connection to clive staples lewis tenuous at best….unless the idea is that lucy visiting narnia via a wardrobe is the same as alice going through the looking glass.
not seeing that that works for whatever it is you might be wanting to say.
lewis carroll is the guy your looking for. he didn't make it to 1962. but he did write through the looking glass as well as some papers on logic that were published by Mind somewhere back end of the 19th century.
