Former high-school teacher anon here. TOTALLY agreed, the system is broken beyond repair.
Or to be more accurate, the "system" shouldn't even exist. The govt has no business being involved in education. You want to talk about mind control, go read John Dewey's writings on the way he wanted American children to be indoctrinated, and the way he wanted teachers to be trained to do it. He wasn't even subtle about it. I wonder how many Americans have even heard of him?
