Well, pointed out earlier my own experience (slept through most of it, though cognizant enough to understand the concepts and bullshit the scan-trons- though everyone's different)… passing that shit with a D+ is just as good as shooting for honors and potential yale/skull+bones scholarship or whatever.. spend the homework time with them teaching real world shit and stuff like logic and critical thinking and busy-ness skills and they'll end up much better as well as hold a closer kinship to yours as well instead of being isolated studying common-core-bull-shit.
