He has a thing for SE Asia (wife Vietnamese and an attorney); he was one of the first pols to officially visit Burma/Myanmar; and he's just generally kind of fickle. How is any of that a problem? IMO, much preferable to the bought and paid treasonous NPC criminals we now have in DC.

Several years ago one of his aides was arrested on the Hill after dropping Webb at Reagan airport. He had a duffel bag with a couple 45's. It was entertaining because none of what happened was any kind of crime whatsoever. Legal to transport firearms in VA, peaceable carry from VA state line to Capitol Hill isn't a crime (2.7 miles on interstate highway), and Congressman and aides are explicitly permitted to carry firearms on the Hill (House/Senate rules). Case was finally dropped.
