Gen was not written by Moses, but on clay tablets by eye witnesses, so it is oldest. (see P.J. Wiseman) Ge 1:14 ¶ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Christians have attempted to see such a "Gospel in the Stars" for centuries because some have interpreted that it must be there as a sign.
If it is there, you simply prove Gen 1:14. Since the names and figures are imposed rather than deduced, they are subjective and of little consequence either way. The gospel is better discerned from the propositional text of the New Testament and sensus plenior of the Old.
