Marine salvage anon, Curious thing about concrete it assumes similar characteristics to steel when bonded to steel. I have patched cargo ships with wire and concrete. I work for engineers so not my thing (science) but these patches have held for 3600 mile voyages from west Africa to Europe for proper repair!
