In talking to the stupid reporters today, perhaps POTUS would have been more persuasive if he told them the environmentalists prefer a steel slat barrier because the birds and bugs can fly right through it. Hah! More important for that to happen than for the Border Patrol to see through the slats.

Everyone else knows the birds and bugs would fly right over it.

Anything to big to fit through the slats can damn well stay on its own side of the border.

Better make sure the slats are close enough together that the illegal immigrants can't pass a newborn baby in between the slats.
