Screenshot of same area in Google Maps showing points of interest that come up automatically.
I was wondering if that was unusual. Obv DC would be crawling with embassies, but wondering if that is an unusually high concentration and/or if the specific embassies are of interest.
Can confirm from Street View. Heavy concrete barriers with just enough room to get one car around (blocked by police vehicle). Even foot traffic is prohibited.
Incidentally, the fact that the barriers were there in a 2017 Street View image suggests to me that they are not an indication of imminent habbenings. They're just related to keeping folks away from the home of the former president.
(Do other former presidents have that? Bill and Hill have major security around their Chappaqua compound but the street isn't closed off at all. Maybe their compound is easier for SS to guard.)
