HRG Group (previously known as Zapata - GHWB's old "oil" company) is headquartered in Rochester.
And Constellation Brands (owner of Corona beer & the world's largest brewery right on the Texas/Mexican border) is headquartered in Victor.
Then there's NXIVM with headquarters near Albany, but with a good amount of attention coming from the Buffalo area.
Could be just a coincidence.
