He’s some kind of Brit it seems though. His date is the lovely and suddenly single Giselle Fernandez. Brits are her thing.
He is very comfortable around powerful people. Looks more at ease with the president of Mexico than even arguably the world’s greatest double-agent Robert Mueller.
Her ex at the time was also a Brit. She is one of only a few reporters ever given a chance to interview Carlos Slim.
He was all smiles in that interview. Bigger smiles even than when he got handsy with Eva Longoria at a Clinton’s Foundation awards ceremony attended by Gavin’s Newsom and the prime minister of Haiti. Fun.
