No disrespect to any Marines here, I have an Uncle who served in Vietnam and he is as straight and disciplined as they come 75 years old and still working, but I know two who were off the deep end, one went in as a private and came out as a private after serving 5 years and was on front lines during Desert Storm in 90-91, the other well, he went AWOL to prevent being convicted of selling steroids. Most marines though I have known are high performing disciplined people. We are all human.
