egad, bakerlove is getting cringey around here… do you serial thankers gushing with gratitude understand what it actually means? Could you please?
Yes, we are grateful and it's important, but at minimum it's just posting a pic and copypasting previous bakes. That's it.
If you can reply here, and post images, you technically have the ability to bake.
But it's preferable not to jump in too soon/without warning, because then we get doubles/triples and confusion and half of those breads are wasted on posts trying to clear things up.
So yeah, important though it is, "stepping up to bake" is no earth-shattering sacrifice of one's life. It's a series of posts that starts a new thread.
If bakers weren't there to do it… other anons would. (and maybe those'll do better than use the lame excuse of constant "emergency bakes" to not even easily include 2 new Q posts, for example)
Now, a good baker knows to follows the thread, select the best posts (but not add anything and everything that anons call for), keeps the dough clean and relevant.
For that we need experienced bakers, who know what they're doing, and that part is the most important and crucial.
Except you bakerlovers don't care about that: anon baked so he deserves our love and appreciation and thanks, however lazy the bake is.
So please, PLEASE, anons, understand they're not blessed sacred priests. They're not perfect, or an elite team of higher anons.
Back in old days some got "organized" and had an "union" and it devolved into tons of infighting and powertrip crap.
Let's not fall into that kind of worship/control again.
