Sometimes I write to the person who makes a poor argument, but you are right–often they don't listen. There are others who are encouraged when someone speaks up–they feel empowered to say something, as well. Or just empowered to stand their ground, whatever it is.
Division-fagging is a huge problem, whether it comes from resentful or immaturel patriots or shills. We attack certain people on this board because of clear evidence they have done harm to others, usually serious and well-documented harm. That is not true of most YouTubers. My philosophy is, "If you're not sure," stay quiet until you have the goods.
