How is a lot of subversive Democrats out of work a bad thing?
Seriously, aren't the employees of the affected agencies about 90% Democrat?
Here's some wishful thinking but what if the shutdown goes on long enough, and a large number of them quit to take other jobs… then a bunch of conservative & libertarians are hired to staff them back up… I realize that's not likely, but isn't it the only theoretical way these agencies could possibly be restored to actually working for the people, given how impossibly hard it is to fire government workers?
Is there some other way, in just a two year window, how these agencies could be liberated from the 90% to 95% stranglehold the Democrats have on the staff?
