I know now. I didn't care about him then. I'm old enough to remember all of his arrogance on TV over the years, without ever knowing the backstory. To me, he was a jerk, though I NEVER thought he was a criminal.
When he ran, I first figured it was a joke. Then he got the nomination and I realized what was going on. I had a feeling he'd win about 3 months out, and knew for sure when the final Comey "investigation" was revealed. I was lucky, IMO.
Then a year and a half went by and I found a breakdown of what was happening, probably Q-based.

I've said… I have a few colleagues/friends/family that believe me when I start relaying what I now. What sells them on what I say is how obvious all the buffoonery is. These are things that make NO SENSE outside of a scripted play. People simply don't act this way all in concert with each other. One or two at a time, sure, but not 20, or 30, or more. It's literally insane.
And the most insane part? The media is ignoring it.
