Elizabeth Pocahontas Warren held an event at McCoy’s Bar Patio and Grill in Council Bluffs, Iowa on Friday to test the waters for a 2020 run.

Things didn’t go so smoothly because Elizabeth Warren’s event was plagued with technical difficulties.

About 8 minutes into Warren’s appearance, her microphone stopped working and the lights went out.

Just as Warren began railing against the 1% (which she is a part of) her microphone malfunctioned.

God sure does have a sense of humor.

Elizabeth Warren echoed Socialist crackpot Bernie Sanders in her 30 minute speech and said she’s ‘in the fight’ because ‘today’s minimum wage will not keep momma and baby out of poverty.’

According to reports, approximately 400 people attended the event on Friday, but the fake news media made is sound like Warren’s event was bigger than it actually was.

Elizabeth Warren’s microphone was out for about 8 minutes so she spent a large block of her speech screaming as loud as she could in the dark so people could hear her.

Arab League To Authorize Return Of Arab Relations With Syria On Sunday

The Arab League will hold a session for the permanent representatives of its members on Sunday in order to authorize the restoration of Syrian-Arab relations including the reopening of all Arab embassies in Damascus, the al-Ahram al-Arabi newspaper reported on Saturday citing Arab officials.

Syria’s membership in the Arab League was suspended in late 2011 after the failure of the Arab peace plan for Syria. Back then, the league also called on all Arab states to close their embassies in Damascus and impose sanctions on the Syrian government.

The officials told the Egyptian newspaper that there is a split inside the Arab League over restoring Syria’s membership. According to the source, a group of Arab states believe that the country’s membership should be restored during Sunday’s session in order to allow Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad to attend the upcoming economic summit in Lebanon this month, and the general summit in Tunisia next April.

However, a second group of Arab states wants to restore Syria’s seat during general summit in Tunisia so that Arab leaders themselves make the decision.

Last month, Sudan’s President, Omar al-Bashir, became the first Arab leader to visit Syria and meet with Assad since the outbreak of the Syrian war. The meeting marked the restart of Syrian-Arab relations, as both the UAE and Bahrain reopened their embassies in Damascus days later.

Several reports claim that Saudi-Arabi and Egypt are leading the efforts to restore Syria’s seat in the Arab league in order to drive Assad’s government away from Iran and counter the growing influence of Turkey in the war-torn country.

Magnitude 6.8 Earthquake Hits West Brazil - USGS

The epicenter was registered to be 89 kilometers (55.3 miles) west of the Tarauaca municipality in the Acre state, at an estimated depth of 575.3 kilometers (357.5 miles), the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.

There have been no immediate reports on damage or casualties.

According to the USGS, only a few people have said having felt the quake. Even being a larger magnitude tremor, this jolt remains a 'green alert' related to fatalities and economic losses, meaning it has a low likelihood of causing substantial damage or impact.

During the current US government shutdown, USGS is currently being manned by a small number of agency employees who are keeping key safety operations running, according to a Department of the Interior statement.

Arkansas law requiring state contractors pledge not to boycott Israel has court challenge

Attorneys for an Arkansas newspaper asked a federal judge Friday to block a law requiring that contractors pledge not to boycott Israel, saying it forces businesses to give up their free speech rights in order to receive state money.

U.S. District Judge Brian Miller heard arguments in the Arkansas Times’ lawsuit challenging the state’s 2017 anti-boycott law. Miller said he hoped to rule soon on whether to block the law, which the Times and the American Civil Liberties Union argue is unconstitutional. The law requires contractors to reduce their fees by 20 percent if they don’t sign the pledge.

The Times’ lawsuit says the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College refused to contract for advertising with the newspaper unless the Arkansas Times signed the pledge. The paper isn’t engaged in a boycott against Israel.

“It makes the plaintiff endorse the idea that the government can make an individual take a political position as a condition of getting money,” Bettina Brownstein, an attorney for the ACLU of Arkansas, told Miller.

The state has argued that a boycott isn’t constitutionally protected speech, and that the pledge doesn’t force the Times to take a political position.

UN Staff Member says 5G Is War on Humanity

UN staff have repeatedly been told that they are the most important resource of this Organization.

Since December 2015, the staff here at the Vienna International Centre have been exposed to off-the-scale electromagnetic radiation from WiFi and mobile phone boosters installed on very low ceilings throughout the buildings. Current public exposure levels are at least one quintillion times (that’s 18 zeros) above natural background radiation according to Professor Olle Johansson of the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.

The highly dangerous biological effects of EMFs have been documented by thousands of studies since 1932 indicating that we may be facing a global health catastrophe orders of magnitude worse than those caused by tobacco and asbestos.

Mr. Secretary-General, on the basis of the Precautionary Principle, I urge you to have these EMF-emitting devices removed immediately and to call a halt to any rollout of 5G at UN duty stations, because it is designed to deliver concentrated and focused electromagnetic radiation in excess of 100 times current levels in the same way as do directed energy weapons.

In line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, to “Protect, Respect and Remedy”, 5G technologies MUST be subjected to an independent health and safety assessment before they are launched anywhere in the world.

There is currently an international appeal (https://www.emfscientist.org/index. php/emf-scientist-appeal) signed by 237 EMF scientists from 41 nations urging the UN and particularly the WHO to exert strong leadership in fostering the development of more protective EMF guidelines, encouraging precautionary measures, and educating the public about health risks, particularly risk to children and fetal development.

Mr. Secretary-General, we have a unique opportunity here at the UN Office at Vienna. Since our medical records are digitized, you have the possibility of releasing data on a closed population exposed to off-the-scale levels of electromagnetic radiation to establish if there have already been abnormal health consequences for the UN staff here in the last 28 months.

I urge you to do so and stop any 5G rollout in these buildings immediately.

Now, if you understand electromagnetic radiation, the signal is – if you cannot get a signal from your mobile phone, the signal goes to maximum strength and that then bounces off metal walls affecting the body multiple times at maximum exposure levels. So the situation here is extremely dangerous. I have heard anecdotally of many people who have had health problems. I don’t know if they are related but the Precautionary Principle would dictate that we use our medical records to look into this and that we remove these dangerous devices immediately. Thank you.

Staff member: I would suggest that everybody start looking into this issue and particularly into 5G, which 237 scientists from 41 countries consider a threat that is far worse than the tobacco and asbestos threats of the past.

White House Freezes Raises for Top Administration Officials Including VP Pence

Vice President Mike Pence and other top Trump administration officials won’t receive pay increases that were set to automatically trigger due to the government shutdown.

Federal agencies were told to hold off on enacting pay increases on Jan. 4, in a memo from Margaret Weichert, the acting director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

The raises would have been triggered due to a pay freeze for top federal officials expiring because of the shutdown. That freeze was enacted through a law passed by Congress in 2013, reported the Washington Times.

Pence’s annual salary would have risen from $230,700 to $243,500 while the salaries of hundreds of top officials would have gone up by around $10,000.

“In the current absence of Congressional guidance,” OPM “believes it would be prudent for agencies to continue to pay these senior political officials at the frozen rate until appropriations legislation is enacted that would clarify the status of the freeze,” Weichert wrote.
