No learn how to read an analog watch. The hands are moving clockwise (doh). So the LONG hand is the MINUTES and it's partway part 14 but has not reached 15 yet. That's 3:14. Then you read the tiny dial at the bottom which is the sweep second hand. It reads 40, meaning 40 seconds. Put that all together and it's
3:14:40.
