POTUS has rubbed the Dems' noses in their true objectives so it will be seen/grasped by the American people despite the MSM fake news.

Income taxation has always been an instrument of social policy/control anyway, not strictly necessary to fund government operations. Tariffs etc. can fund gov operations.
