A chronograph also has a stopwatch function… if one presses the stopwatch button, then the long skinny hand begins moving to track elapsed seconds, and the dial on top moves after every 1 minute elapsed.
On this watch the long skinny second hand and top dial remain motionless until activated.
The watch shows 3/15:14:40 and unactivated stopwatch function hands resting in their default positions.
