they put him to sleep ,like a dog or cat that has stayed to many days at the pound,guess that was better than a sack full of rocks and a river near by .

May 6, 1970 the remaining ROTC building was burned by protestors in response to the killing of four students at Kent State by National Guard Troops. Between 2,000 and 3,000 cheered as the building burned and celebrated what would be the last ROTC building on WU Campus; but the war ravaged on.
