Well the gist of it is, a bunch of people live in a land that is protected by a giant border wall from undesirables. The problem is, all the people that live on the safe side of the wall, are paying attention more to political infighting and making power plays for themselves instead of focusing on the wall. It is a series loved by leftists and NPCs (as well as those on the right), but the same leftists and NPCs who watch the show, root for the fictional characters to protect the wall, while IRL the President is trying to do the same thing, but they shit on him for it.
