Please help me with some definitions >>we must have a common understanding of terms in order to avoid misunderstandings.

#1: [“The Plan”]: Yes, battle plans are dynamic, but – you need to give us some idea [about] when we should expect to see the start and end of operations [major/visible/world changing events] [yes, preparing the battlespace is essential, but I am not referring to prep work here]. Is [“Military planning at its finest”] in this case a multi-generational affair [like the ‘Military planning’ in #2 below] – is it possible that you might still be sending messages like “the world is about to change” ten years after Trump has completed his 8 year term in office?

#2: War and Colonization. Is our presence in Afghanistan at this point a war or colonization? When a key parameter is busted [the longest war in American history] it adds to the confusion.
