I figure this puts her death announcement anywhere between 20 days [seconds?] from yesterday until 20 days prior to her 3-15 birthday.. actually a rather short window.

well, presume that Q doesn't drop clues unless things have already happened, so her death is likely already well on it's way to worm food- but it does still have to be announced at some point.
