Why not? My wife and I garden and preserve. We also forage and dry. We have about 3 months worth of food in the kitchen and more in a storage locker. And this is after not putting in a garden for the past two years. We have water stored up and the ability to filter roughly 100,000 gallons from a couple local springs we have found.
