Speaking of Jewish genetics, what's the story on that? They have nothing at all to do with actual Semites, right? But there may be a Neanderthal connection or something?

Also, any thoughts on this book?: "When Scotland Was Jewish: DNA Evidence, Archeology, Analysis of Migrations, and Public and Family Records Show Twelfth Century Semitic Roots," by Elizabeth Caldwell Hirschman and Donald N. Yates.

From what I've read, whether it has anything to do with modern Jews or not, the whole thing about admiralty law ultimately comes from traders very closely related to the Canaanites/Phoenicians/Minoans/Venetians who had colonies basically on every coast they were allowed to port to, and spread their spider web that way.
