In the older doc, from 1977, ClownsIA strives to dissuade any investigation on their relationship with media and others, on the basis that it may harm unwitting non-ClownsIA persons whether or not their names appear. Preach Safety First (safety of non-ClownIA actors. Preach Safety First, safety of the nation above all else (gotta do what they gotta do!).
In the more recent doc, note early on that Specter (Chair) interrupts first witness Adelman (page 18) to prevent him from mentioning the one single sentence that is the cause of this hearing! The sentence is not stated at all. When interrupting Adelman, Specter asks him instead to state what he (Adelman) would like to see discussed in the resulting report from the hearing (implication: stay away from THAT SENTENCE left here unspoken.
The hearing continues with Specter bringing out discussion of any proposed recommendation for prohibiting relationships between ClownsIA and Media, and other significant organizations. Focus is on Media, really, since that was the context of the sentence not mentioned. Specter guides others who are testifying to discuss if, when, and why the ClownsIA might impersonate other agencies, or might recruit other agencies for INFORMATION GATHERING PURPOSES. This is crucial. As for ClownsIA disseminating information through other agencies (ClownsIA developed propaganda as standard narratives), it is reported that only a few MIGHT ever be used when national security warrants it–if it is allowed by law. Adequate for Information Gathering in the minds of some, maybe.
Witness speaks up and says ClownsIA routinely fail to respect the law and to respect rules and regulations governing their actions, so LAWS AND RULES MIGHT BE INEFFECTIVE ANYWAY unless the IA can demonstrate discipline re. adherence to law and regulation! (HA HA).
Discussion at times: well, maybe only a few on a case by case basis, POTUS approved????
Like, what? 7 editorial managers for 7 major media holdings, who direct ALL editorial positions on all their diverse holdings? Yes, I think that would be how they do it now. Less costly that way, maybe only 70 mill/year–that cheap. Maybe more. Risky business.
But in the hearings no one discusses the possibility (Fact) that ClownsIA disseminate official propaganda in the US, while also gathering info on probable opponents. Far more important for controlling the pop than it is to recruit a few reports who can "investtigate" (HA HA HA) and get "Information" the Clowns cannot.
Summary: no one speaks of ClownsIA propagating info, just lame talk about getting info. And, why are the Clowns IA doing anything in the US ?? What are the rules again? (HA HA HA HA) Oh, hell, let's jsut talk about something else instead, please. All agreed?
