This is not your average imminent domain case. It involves national security.

The property is not just taken. The property owner is offered fair market value for the land. If an owner refuses tbe offer(s) the case moves to the court.

From what I have read on the issue, a large percentage of the ranchers, etc would gladly sell a portion of their property. They suffer the most. Illegals trash their land, kill their cattle, and break in to their homes.

I am not sure of the status of that case. Will dig further.

Also, please keep in mind that if not for Eminent Domain we would have no freeways, highways, schools, etc.

There is a need for it, but should not be abused.

Hope so. I have known many good mexican people. Some here legally, some not.

In every case they said they came for a better life.

The ones here illegally, said they came that way because they didnt even have the money needed to apply for the basic papers needed to immigrate legally, I.e.; passports, etc
